The Beginning
From One Society to D4W
Long before D4W (Death For Wish) was created, many of us were members of a community known as One Society. It wasn't just a Discord server—it was a place where friendships were built and unforgettable memories were made.
When One Society eventually came to an end, everyone slowly moved on. The raiding scene faded away, members became inactive, and each of us started focusing on different things. Although life went on, the bond between old friends never disappeared.
Months later, we all found ourselves together again in a Discord voice channel. What started as a normal conversation soon turned into something much bigger. We talked about the memories we had created, the community we had lost, and how much we missed being together.
Then someone asked a simple question:
“Why don't we build our own clan?”
From that very moment, we started planning everything from scratch. We spent countless hours discussing ideas, choosing the perfect name, designing the server, creating roles, setting up channels, and preparing every detail.
After all the hard work, D4W — Death For Wish was finally born.
The response was beyond our expectations. D4W quickly became a thriving community where people gathered, made new friends, participated in events, competed with each other, and created countless unforgettable memories together.
Day by day, the clan continued to grow—and so did our ambition.
Unfortunately, real life came first.
As responsibilities increased, our core team had no choice but to close D4W. Even though the community disappeared, the dream behind D4W never did.
Over the following years, we tried bringing D4W back twice. Both times, the passion was still there, but our schedules weren't. With studies, work, and personal responsibilities taking priority, we were forced to shut the project down once again.
But this story doesn't end there.
Today, D4W returns stronger than ever.
The same bond is still here, but now the vision is bigger: better systems, bigger events, stronger competition, serious loud-micing, and a community built to last.
D4W Comes Before Personal Beef
There is one principle that has existed at the heart of D4W from the beginning:
Your personal fights do not decide whether you belong here.
You might have beef with somebody inside D4W. You might have argued with one of our members, competed against them, raided against them, or simply dislike each other.
That is between you and them.
D4W is separate from personal grudges.
No owner should be able to tell someone that they cannot join the D4W clan simply because of a personal disagreement, rivalry, friendship circle, or past beef.
If you want to become part of the clan, you have the same right to step forward as anyone else.
It does not matter whether the person you have problems with is a normal member, an old member, a close friend of the staff, or even someone connected to ownership.
There will be no special advantage for one side simply because they know the right people.
You should not enter D4W expecting to be targeted, constantly trolled, isolated, or harassed because somebody inside the clan personally dislikes you.
Competition is competition.
Beef is beef.
D4W is D4W.
And those things should not be confused with each other.
At the same time, being welcomed into D4W does not mean there are no consequences.
If somebody joins the clan and creates serious unnecessary problems, repeatedly disrespects the community, deliberately ruins the environment, or does something serious enough to be removed from D4W, that decision matters.
If you lose your place in D4W because of your own actions, you should not expect unlimited chances to return.
The doors are open to newcomers.
They are not a revolving door for people who intentionally damage the community.
Built for New People, Not Just an Inner Circle
D4W was never supposed to become a private friend group pretending to be a community.
New people are the future of D4W.
That was true before, and it remains true today.
Someone joining today should have the opportunity to eventually stand beside people who have been here for years.
Your position should not permanently depend on when you joined or who you already know.
If you participate, contribute, support D4W, show loyalty, help the community grow, and prove yourself over time, you will have opportunities to move forward.
You can become more recognized.
You can earn responsibility.
You can become part of bigger projects.
And eventually, you can become part of the circles responsible for shaping D4W itself.
Nobody deserves authority simply for being in the clan—but genuine contribution should always have a path forward.
From the Owners
We want to make something very clear about the direction of D4W.
We are extremely serious about loud-micing, competition, raiding culture, testing, events, and building the Indian Discord scene into something much bigger than it currently is.
We do not want that ambition destroyed because of tiny personal arguments.
There will always be competition.
There will always be rivalries.
There will always be people who dislike each other.
But when every small disagreement turns into communities splitting apart, people leaving clans, groups attacking each other, and everyone forming another five-person circle, nobody actually grows.
We want to break that cycle.
You do not have to like everyone here.
You do not have to become friends with everyone here.
You only need to understand that sometimes a community becomes stronger when competitors can exist under the same roof without turning every disagreement into a war.
WE DON'T WANT TO DEPEND ON FOREIGN COMMUNITIES
This is one of the biggest parts of our vision.
For years, a huge amount of talent, attention, money, software, clients, setups, knowledge, and competition in this scene has revolved around foreign communities.
And too often, Indian users end up being the customers, the audience, or the outsiders.
We buy their products.
We use their clients.
We enter their communities.
We participate in their scene.
And then some of the very same spaces turn around and mock Indian users or treat them as if they are automatically beneath everyone else.
D4W does not want to build its future around that dependency.
This does not mean blindly hating every foreign person or community.
It means something much more important:
We should be capable of building our own.
Our own community.
Our own competition.
Our own loud-micing scene.
Our own events.
Our own systems.
Our own developers.
Our own tools.
Our own talent.
Our own names.
And eventually, our own standard.
If another community respects us, we can respect them.
But D4W will never build itself around begging another scene for recognition.
We don't need to become them.
We need to become strong enough that nobody can ignore us.
There are more than enough talented people in the Indian community to create something massive.
The biggest thing holding us back is not a lack of talent.
It is fragmentation.
Everyone forms their own small circle.
Everyone fights everyone.
Every disagreement becomes permanent.
Every talented person ends up separated from every other talented person.
Imagine what happens when that changes.
Imagine the strongest loud-micers, raiders, developers, editors, creators, competitors, and community builders working inside one ecosystem instead of constantly trying to destroy each other over temporary arguments.
That is the bigger idea behind D4W.
Unity does not mean everyone has to be friends.
It means understanding when something is bigger than an individual rivalry.
This Time, We're Building Something That Lasts
D4W has already disappeared before.
More than once.
We know what happens when everything depends on a few people being online every day.
That is exactly why this version of D4W cannot simply be another temporary Discord group.
The goal is to build an ecosystem with proper systems, community records, events, competition, opportunities, recognition, and enough structure that D4W does not disappear just because one owner becomes busy.
This time, D4W is not being rebuilt just for nostalgia.
It is being rebuilt because we believe this community can become something far bigger than anything we created before.
Different rivalries.
Different circles.
Different personalities.
One clan.
D4W — DEATH FOR WISH
Built from memories.
Rebuilt with purpose.
This time, built to last.
The bond survived.
Different chapters. Same people. Bigger plans.
